Hi,

I am running Suse 6.2 on a Compaq armada E700. Almost everything works great.
APM works fine in the console when typing apm -s or pressing the suspend
button. Even hibernation works cool. I have APM compiled in kernel 2.2.14.
I am running X 3.3.6 in order to support the ATI rage mobility. (XMach64)
The problem is that powermanagement does not work under X. Xset dpms force off,
etc does not work and the laptop crashes when using the apm button or by
clicking suspend from kdelaptop. I have two mices working One is a usb mouse
which works with the usb driver from 2.3 series, the other is the built in ps/2
mouse. I can only switch from mouse by editing my XF86Config. Is there a more
convenient way?

I would be glad if someone could help me.

Greetings,

Menno Schaap
