[SLL] gnome startup file

In RHEL 6.3 workstation, what's the name of Gnome's 
startup file?  I have an .xsession with 600 
permission, and symlinks to it from all of the 
following:

~/gnome-session
~/.gnomerc
~/.xinitrc
~/.Xsession
~/.gnome2/session
All of those were mentioned in pages returned by 
Google when I tried to find the right answer.  None of 
them get executed on session login.
