they seem fairly active and from a lurker perspective seem to be very cool and keen Linux users, there must be one of them with a caffeine addiction that you could meet up with :) what worries me about your post is that if it is not just 'new' hardware but does turn out to be an actual hardware error you may be sacrificing stability for function, this tends to never end well... Will you please also post when you have resolved the issue, so we know what it was?
