I'm going to suggest people reach for the dictionary more often. To
suggest that my comments (or my feelings) were evidence of an 'old grudge'
or a 'personal malice of the worst & most enduring nature' is taking
things a little far ....

For the record:

When I checked the Caldera WWW site before sending the mail I saw no
mention of the "offer". Maybe I missed it, maybe it wasn't there. *shrug*

Checking the sites first is standard practice for me. I even go as
far as checking the main dosemu site itself, despite having all the
original files *ON MY MACHINE*.

My personal feelings where those of being let down, rather than hatred,
when Caldera changed their license agreement.

I have NEVER owned a copy of MS-DOS (as such). Until I got a machine with
W95 on it ALL of my versions of DOS have been based on DR-DOS.
