Sorry, it sounded so damned pompous and silly I thought it might be a
joke...

But in retrospect, at least Manfred did extrapolate a clear point unlike
your post that goes to ridiculous lengths to distort my mild comments.

Whoa dude, its not the end of the world, to recognize the fact that
there are
different disributions, that act differently. Nor is it tantamount to
advocating Anarchy. Maybe you should step down off the high horse for a
bit.

Encourage... Seeking to magnify? ... If you see all that in my
comments, you have quite an imagination.

All the noise about what great assistance is being lost by including
info about what you are running. Not buying that bull either. It is
just plain sensible to do so. If that gets a post ignored then it
becomes a bit hard to see how big of help was really there to start
with. Also, I seriously doubt there are many experienced linux users
who would feel compelled to ignore posts that included info about the
distribution. And certainly even fewer who would consider it somekind
of menacing act.

Well, you had to do a tripple gainer and two back flips to get that out
of my post I hope you don't hurt yourself on this one.
