Hi,
I recently re-installed RHLinux7 onto my P166 box.
Before doing that, my NIC card, LINKSYS EtherFast
10/100, was probed and working fine, but now, it
cannot be found. When I type 'ifconfig -a', it shows
only loopback (lo). Through 'linuxconf', I set
following parameters:
...
net device: eth0
kernel module: tulip
...
(BTW, how do I find which I/O port and Irq the card
should be or are using?)
Then after rebooting, I see "...network: Bringing up
interface eth0: failed" in the /var/log/boot.log file.
What else must I do to install my NIC?
