Are you "sure" that is the correct driver.?????

If it is a PCI card (one would imagen it is) then cat /proc/net/pci will tell
you.

I suggest you read the Ethernet-HOWTO wich i am sure you have in your
/usr/doc/* dir, read section 5.24.  LinkSys
