This is my one gripe with Redhat. Xconfigurator is poor, IMO.
I prefer XF86Setup, found in Slackware and Caldera. You can get
the RPM for this program from the RPM Repository.
Xconfigurator doesn't seem to handle quite as many options
in the XF86Config file, as XF86Setup does. when I ran Xconfigurator,
My font list was shorter than than that generated by XF86Setup.
Xconfigurator also does not have the extensive list of specific settings
for video cards provided by XF86Config. my suggestion would be to go
back to the XF86Config file you had before the upgrade, and copy the
fontpath section to your new config file.
Would someone on this list be so kind as to post their fonts section,
as I am not at my linux box right now
Thanks,
Bryan
