Actually I wouldn't mind knowing a bit about where to install stuff from
either. I've d/led all this stuff for my linux 2.0.31 box, qt runtimes,
netscape 4.06, true type font server...my question is WHERE do you
install these files from? From the / directory logged in as root? Will
they recurse themselves into the correct directories? Do I need to mkdir
first with any of them? I'm sorry if these some like dumb questions, but
the doco's aren't clear on this. i don't want ot install stuff and have
it install to some unheard of and incorrect place...any rules of thumb?
TIA
'Later
Peter
