Not knowing where the game writes its logs, that could lead to a false
answer, but normally speaking programs write to a file which is defined in a
configuration file, mostly the user MUST create that file as to allow the
program to write to it.

If the said game has a README i suggest you read it more closely, it
possably will tell you HOWTO go about solving your own problem.

As to being concerned, i would not be, the chances are, you will never be a
winner, as scores would always be simply discarded.
