I suppose I could find the answer to this question by a download, but I'd like to avoid that unless there's good reason. There's a windows manager called gnome2fvwm. I'm inclined to move in a GNU direction whenever I can, but fvwm can be configured to meet my needs also. So I wonder about just what the difference is, and if gnome2fvwm is really a complete windows manager. Besides my commitment in principle to GNU, what would be the advantages of installing gnome2fvwm? Haines Brown
