Hello.
I would like to use both the serial port com2
at the rear of my computer and a modem. My mouse
is on cua0/com1.
Now I have configured the modem to irq 3 (2F8),
and _disabled_ com2 from cmos setup. (as otherwise
com2 is using addr. 2F8 and the modem doesn't work)
/dev/modem points to cua1. Com2 has however been
disabled. Still the modem works... Why? Does this
have something to do with the fact that com2 is always
at 2F8?
Where's my com2 port really? On the modem? If com2 is now
the modem, then how do I use the original com2 connector
at the rear panel of my PC?
I feel slightly confused...

PS. Can I have two pysical monitors in use
if I have two different graphics cards?
