Presuming you installed Documentation on your system, then look in /usr/doc/
for the howto or HOWTO directory, you will find many files, read them with
'zless' the files concerned are Serial-HOWTO.gz and PPP-HOWTO.gz
If you dont have thoses doc's, try;
http://sunsite.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/Serial-HOWTO.html
http://sunsite.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO.html
If i remember correctly "sunsite" is now called "metalab.unc.edu", someone
please correct me if i am wrong.
