X Font install

Hey,

I asked this question a couple of days ago, and I'm not sure if it was
missed or what.  Anyway, does anyone know how to install fonts (*.pfa,
*.pfb fonts) for X?  These are the supplementary GIMP fonts available at
ftp.gimp.org.  Any help would be *greatly* appreciated!!!
