staroffice vs. wordperfect

i have been contemplating dumping staroffice for wordperfect but          
have a question to ask before i proceed. my question is, how 
does w.p. compare to s.o.? that is, in terms of speed, bugginess,
etc. and what features does the former have that the other lacks (and
vice versa)? thanks for any replies.
