Hi, everyone, happy new year.

I am using a SiS6326 video card. I am running Redhat Linux 5.2 and I
just downloaded and installed XFree86-3.3.3.

My problem is that when I try to run X using startx the system simple
goes back to the shell prompt. When I try to run applications like emacs
it gives me the following error : "segmentation fault (core dumped)".
I then decided to run Superprobe version 2.18(dec 1998) and it gives me
the following :

first Video : Super-VGA
chipset : Silicon Intergrated Systems (chipset unknown)(PCIprobed)
signature data : 6(please report)
memory : 0Kbytes
RAMDAC : Generic 8-bit pseudo-color DAC (with 6-bit wide lookup
tables(or 6-bit mode)).

Please if you have any suggestion how to fix this help. The video cards
specification says it has 8MB memory, but superprobe says 0. I am a
really newbie.
