I had a similar problem when trying to install RH 4.1
on my PC.
When the screen appeared which asks where the files
are located I just typed / (root). It then searched
the drive and I could proceed.
Then when trying to read the files an error message
came up that it could not find the files on
/tmp/rhimage/redhat/
I then made the directories c:\tmp\rhimage\redhat\base
and c:\tmp\rhimage\redhat\rpms.
I then tried installing again and everything went
perfectly.
