Yes. I do it all the time. I have one Linux serverthat is never (well, only
occasionally) connected to a monitor -- I normally telnet to it from my
Linux workstation. This second Linux host shares (via a switchbox) a monitor
with my Win95 host. 

As far as I know, Linux hosts DO need a video card. And some BIOSs will
object it they can't find a monitor at startup ... but that's a BIOS issue,
not a Linux issue.
