Display Card problems

Dear List

I am using a Sis 6215c Rev 21 (4.0) display card and I just found out
that it is not supported by Xfree86 3.3.3.1. So what do I do I mean what
setting do I select when asked to do an autoprobe it gives me an error.
Ray, I am using X-configurator and the video RAM is 1Mb and not 64 K as
the error message shows. Is there no way that I can select some other
chipset even if I have to staisfy myself with lower resolutions.
Please help
