Greetings:
Reading this thread with great interest - did I miss anyone
mentioning that Unix has been around since the sixties and that the
original Seattle Dos was spawned from CP/M, albeit quite crippled,
which was spawned from Unix??
I flip when I read "Linux has some commands similar to Dos." Ugh.
I've even heard that 'Windows' originated at Palo Alto Research and
Steve Jobs and Bill Gates liked what they saw.. I suspect Unix had an
Xwindows shell all this time too... Ah - Marketing!!.. :^)
