OK, I chopped it some. =) There are four things in the mirroring thing:
1) I read a ton of newsgroups =)
2) I just discovered slrn, which seems to be pretty nice,
and a lot faster,
3) My newsgroup selection changes pretty rapidly. I add new
ngs and take 'em away if I don't like them. It would be
impractical to maintain a config file and change it
so rapidly.
4) I have *NO IDEA* on how to mirror the newsgroups that
I read.
That's just four factors. =)
