I have just done a basic install of RedHat 5.1 on my laptop (it's now dual boot
NT workstation and Linux), but can't get X working. There is an option for a
NeoMagic graphics card, and it recognizes at least my Xircom PC-Card (I'm a
little concerned about the PSION modem, but that can wait). I can't seem to find
a setting for my display that will work. I keep getting err 111.
I have few other questions while I'm here:
Is there an archive of this and other Linux lists?
I recall seeing something about a driver for Linux to read NTFS? If that's
correct, what's the URL?
Before I dive too deep into SAMBA, can somebody just let me know if its worth
the research. I'll need users to authenticate for access to SAMBA shares
based on NT domain authentication (I know its yuch, but its what I have to
deal with.)
