        I think there is an archive, but not too sure. To support NTFS I
believe you'll need the lastet kernal (2.2.1 I think), and then
recompile it. If your modem is a win modem, which is likely to be (saves
power in laptops) then you are out of luck. Also try the linux on laptop
homepage for info and links, there is where i got a lot of the info to
setup my neomagic card.

I have currently xfree running with the svga server at 1024x768 @ 8
bits, but there is a neomagic server that is better. You will also need
the lastest xfree (version 3.3.3 or something). I would also suggest
trying to get redhat 5.2, 5.1 is noted for being a little buggy.

With regards to samba, I haven't played with it myself, but it will make
you machine look like an NT box for all the other NT machines you have,
its quite good apparently, but make sure you get the lastest version.
