i recently configured & compiled my kernel ( 2.0.36 ) .. i removed many
unuseful stuff , such as some cd-rom drivers & modules , ftape support ,
isdn support , etc ... i think i also removed pcmcia ... the kernel
compiled and worked ok ..
the only problem is that , whenever i startup linux , after the
appletalk , etc , i get an error message when they load up pcmcia ... it
says that some pcmcia module can't be found ...
btw , i don't think i even want pcmcia support .. so , how do i remove
the attempt of my comp to load pcmcia support ( or any other startup
programmes , daemons ) ?
