I did say loadlin was a DOS executable didn't I?
But if you are trying to boot linux - I was suggesting that you put it in
your config.sys via a shell command. Isn't that easier that booting to
windows, reading the config.sys, reading the autoexec.bat AND then
running a batch file? Things can be done the easy way or the hard way.
I'm sure there are a million ways to use LILO. My point again is, what's
the sense in using loadlin AND LILO to boot windows and linux???
Also, my point about english was that I suspected you might have a
problem reading my shorthand. So I made it a point to write out the email
in a normal fashion that I hoped would be easier for you to understand.
It wasn't my intent to offend you or anyone.
Again (hopefully for the last time) You don't need to fool with msdos.sys
to do multiboot under windows.
