I haven't done it, but I know I've seen RedHat doco on it somewhere. I
couldn't find that, but looking for it I found a mkinitrd script and
manpage packaged in mkinitrd-*.i386.rpm that might help you. With that
and /usr/src/linux/Documentation/initrd.txt and ramdisk.txt for
background you may have what you need. I never said RedHat _couldn't
be started with loadlin, though I may have said I didn't know how to do
it at the time.:-) Or that's what I meant.
