I was working with reinstalling Red Hat 5.2 today, and I decided that I
didn't want to install XFree86 right off the get-go, I wanted to get the
console working. Fine, now I've got the console working, and I installed
XFree86 by hand from the Red Hat 5.2 CD. Cool. It installed OK...

My console setting was at 132x43, and when I ran Xconfigurator, at the
stage where it probed the video card, it changed the console resolution
from 132x43 to 132x21... Everything is *WAY* too tall now! Is there a way
that anyone know of to change the screen mode back to 143x43 without
rebooting? It's the kernel which I've got set to change the screen mode
at boot time (from 80x25 to 132x43)... I'd like to get it back the way it
was, though, without rebooting.

Any help on this would be appreciated! Thanks!
