I'm trying to mount a SCSI drive on my mandrake5.3 system that was setup on a 8gb IDE. Its an Adaptec 2940uw card that I've used with rhl5.2 a million times, so I know it works, and I haven't changed the termination or cable setup since I last used it, so that can't be it. bootup says scsi: 0 hosts scsi: detected total $mount says: /dev/hda1 on / type ext2 (rw) none on /proc type proc (rw) and I cannot fdisk or mount /dev/sda Do I need to load a driver or something? I thought SCSI was in the kernel by default, or is mandrake 5.3 different in some way? Thanks for all your help, guys. Dan Browning Network Administrator Cyclone Computer Systems
