During install, you should have gotten a screen very earlier on asking
you about SCSI drives. You should have said yes and selected one that
matched yours. If you did do this, something may have happened to an
important file. Check that there is a mount point for sda in fstab, and
that the proper SCSI driver is installed. There are other files you can
check, but since the linux half of my system is temporarily down, I
can't hop on over to find out what.
