Thats what i said in PS to my mail. Is it just this file or somewhere
in rc.d/inetd/... ? since, presently this machine is not on the net
(it does not even have ethertnet card), any address should do... no?

I did "host <my_machine_name>" and it says "Host not found". Is this
has to do with machine ip not being in /etc/hosts?
