Text Editor

Hi All,

I was just curious if anyone uses a text editor for programming java
that would work nicely with sun's java compiler.  I am looking for
something that incorporates compiling and editing into one program, such
as TextPad for Windows does.  I find it a huge hassle to write a program
in a text editor only to compile and run it from command line.  Any
suggestions for text editors, even if not what I am looking for, I am
open to any suggestions!
