The short answer is NO! The long answer is that you may be able
to get a few (very few) of your simpler Win apps to run with a windows
emulator called "Wine". And you may be able to get quite a few of your
DOS apps running with "DOSEMU".
At this stage you should be thinking in terms of "Dual Boot" and
not in terms of "I'm gonna throw this Windows rubbish out and switch to
Linux". This can come later once you've fallen in love with Linux and
found the equivalent native Linux apps to replace what your using in
Windows now.
