I have a number of small odd problems with my RH5.2 Install that may or
may not be related.
It started when my system froze during a standard shutdown -r now. It
stopped responding while it was shutting down the gpm mouse service. It
restarted again after I moved my mouse. This is now a standard
occurance.
Occasionally I will load into Navigator in X, and the when I try to load
the Messenger Mailbox nothing will happen. I will just get the busy
mouse icon until I quit Navigator. This continues even when I quit out
of X. The only way i have found to correct it is to reboot the system
which corrects it 1 out of 3 times.
Occasionally during login, I will enter my username and password and
then nothing will happen. I can type away on the blank screen but it
doesn't log me in. this also happens occasionally when I su.
I really don't know where to begin looking for a solution. Any
direction will be apprectiated.
