On the same line of thinking... I've also heard that installation is
possible over the Internet.... I know that this works with Red Hat 5.2. I
am not certain how to do it myself, but I do know that it is described in
the install manual, anyway.

Is there a Linux for PowerPC architechture and will install from the
Internet? Also, is there a partition program similar to FIPS for DOS for
the Macintosh for the dynamic resizing of a partition?

I want to put on a Linux demonstration at my school, and all they have are
Apple computers on the stupid network there. Ethernet --> Proxy -->
Internet, and there are additional network programs (Network Assistant,
which allows the monitoring/control of workstations running MacOS from a
"root" MacOS computer, as I understand it), and a messaging type of daemon
that lets the admin put dialog boxes on some/all of the computers, and
allows admin to shutdown computers, restart computers remotely.

Anyway, is there any way to get Linux on the 'net with this type of setup
on a PowerMac and have it download and install?
