I have downloaded and installed the xfstt rpm on my Mandrake 5.3
system. All the *.ttf's are in my /usr/X11R6/lib/ttfonts/fonts
directory. I have also run the xfstt-config command (that's basically
what put the fonts in the previously mentioned path).
How can I make use of these fonts? From what I was able to get reading
the man page is that I need to issue the command xfstt prior to issuing
startx. I did that but no luck. The complete command I issued was
xfstt times.ttf. Is that correct? What am I doing wrong? Please
help--the current fonts are horrible compared to what I get when I boot
into Windows.
