Actually, it was 4.77MHz. =) A rather fine point, but my first computer
was an IBM PC/XT and I studied just about every tech manual I could get my
hands on. Here though we program mainly in C, and if you're not running
Linux people look at you strangely. Windows is tolerated, but forget Mac
OS (I personally have nothing against it). There's a small contingent of
BeOS and OS/2 users too, with a handful of Solaris. But mainly our campus
runs on Linux, which is a Good Thing.
