yes i am thanks...i went into the printtool..and configured,,,then ran
all test pages from readhats printool and worked fine...and when i use
the command ls >/dev/lp1 it works okay...i do not have the newest
kernel..i have the default one that shipped with redhat...i had already
read the howto for printing and setting up a printer before i asked the
question...thanks for the help so far..
