My main idea for a start was to get NT workstation to work as a router,
this proved to be a problem because I am pretty much a newbie to Networking
and Linux. I ended up using wingate and thought that I might be able to just
set
up the linux machine to use the DNS part of Wingate. Unfortunately I don't
know if my Linux setup is right I have added the DNS server address to my
resolv.conf, but I think I need to up the 'ipchains' command, is this right?
Do
ping and the other tools need to have servers running on the NT box, or do
they
just use DNS?
