Linux on Dell machines

Does anyone have any experience of running Linux (any distro) on the latest
Dell Dimensions (the XPS-T series)? I'm thinking of buying one of these, and
would like to make sure Linux will run on it. According to the red hat
hardware db, the cards and other bits and bobs that come with these machines
are all supported, but I would like to be sure...
