I have an XPS-T 500 with Debian Potato. If you get it with the Montego II
instead of the Montego I, there aren't any drivers yet. The Monetgo I has
beta drivers through http://www.opensound.com .
I have a TNT video card in mine, and of course it works fine - just make
sure you're using the latest XFree86. Riva has announced Linux support
(2d and 3d) for the TNT 2, and according to what I've heard those drivers
should work with the TNT 1 as well, so it looks like we'll even have 3d
support for the video card.
The mouse gave me a tiny bit of trouble. Make sure you tell X and gpm
that it's an imps2 mouse (at least, for the Logitech MouseMan Wheel.)
I've had some difficulties with the tape drive. Does anyone know of any
good backup programs that work with IDE-TAPE? Everything seems to either
work with SCSI tape drives or FTAPE only. I'm about to try BURT...
