What CD-ROM drive do you have?  (It's not the label, that's for sure)...
some CD-ROM drives simply refuse to read burned CD-ROMs, in which case,
you should either put it on a DOS hard drive, or... make a .ISO image, and
modify the boot disk to mount the drive that the .ISO is on, and mount the
.ISO through looping... (that's what I'm doing with my system, except I'm
downloading the .ISO, over a 56k modem.  Currently, I'm up to 223,182,848
bytes on it, using rsync).

Anyway, try using a different CD-ROM drive, if possible.  =)  I've run
into this problem lots of times...
