There should be boot-disks included in every distribution. For example
slackware has the following.

bootdsks.12/
bootdsks.144/  Both 144 and 12 include a disk for every type of system.
rootdsks/ Includes the color and text installer versions + a few more.

As to using the bootdisk from 5.2 for 6.0 i would have to guess and say NO,
but i bet its a safe guess.
