Which Linux distribution are you using? Many have 3.3.3.1 in their latest
versions (e.g., RH 6.0, SuSE 6.1). You can get the Red Hat fvwm binary rpm
from (for example - actually one long line, devided in two below for
readability)
 
ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/distributions/
redhat/redhat-6.0/i386/RedHat/RPMS/fvwm2-2.2-5.i386.rpm  

The RH binaries for the various 3.3.3.1 servers are in the same directory.
