What happened to your old pre-Xfree86 3.3.3.1 window manager?

I've had very good luck compiling and installing WindowMaker on every
distribution. You'll need the libraries and headers for at least JPEG,
TIFF and XPM. Depending on your distribution, there should be
precompiled packages available for every window manager, such as
WIndowMaker, KDE, Enlightenment, IceWm, Blackbox, etc.
