Hi, I need a little help with my internal modem problems...
I'll tell you about it. It's a Boca Research 33.6 ISA modem. I've
already set up the hardware stuff. It's not a winmodem. When I dial my
ISP, I hear the usual hissing and screeching, nothing different... Then
it has problems in the handshaking process, I guess. My ISP's modem
hangs up... Mine keeps looking for a carrier, then mine times out. I've
got a 14.4 internal modem/soundcard that works just fine, but is slow as
anything ( ISA, BTW ). I've also got an external modem on my serial port
that does the same things. I don't know what could be the problem.
