Not everybody does. I don't, for example - I use Windows 95 and Linux both,
employing each where I find it more useful. I doubt I'm all that unusual in
this respect. But many of us are in the habit of staying low profile,
because some Linux lists (not linux-newbie, though, or the vger-hosted lists
generally - their generally high level of courtesy is one of the reasons I
enjoy participating on these lists) have posters who regularly revile anyone
who admits to, or gets caught, using Windows.
As a consequence, the "Windoze" haters are more visible than those of us
with less extreme views. I doubt anyone has any real way of knowing how many
Linux users fall into each group.
