IN that case, you're out of luck. LILO needs the bootable partition to be
within the first 1024 cylinders. One common workaround for this is to make a
small (about 100 meg) bootable and root partition in this area, then put a
big, mountable Linux partiion wherever is convenient. I don't know if you
can do the needed rearranging of your disk partitions to make this a
practical solution.
