I am trying to connect two computers using a cat 5 (ethernet) crossover
cable. One is my Linux box (RH5.2) and one is a Mac(OS8.5). Any ideas on
what protocol would be the best to use to connect the two (Appletalk, IPX,
TCP/IP). I've invested about an hour into trying TCP/IP with no luck. Any
halp, even a pointer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
I can't even seem to find anything of any use in any HOWTO's or FAQ's.
