Yes, it is upgradeable, but from the way you word your question I'm not
sure you fully comprehend the beauty of Linux in general nor RedHat in
particular.

1) There are people running perfectly serviceable Linux machines that
haven't been upgraded (except for security fixes) in several (i.e. more
than 4) years

2) Installing RedHat 5.2 and upgrading to 6.0 immediately doesn't gain
you anything (except that you already have a 5.2 CD so you can do it
NOW). You can download the full RedHat 6.0 distribution FOR FREE from
RedHat. If you have a CD burner you can burn a CD. You can burn
multiple CDs. You can give them to your friends. You can sell them to
people on the street. Not only CAN you do this, you are ENCOURAGED to
do this. *ahem* Anyway, if you don't have a cd burner, you can install
right off the Internet from RedHat's website (assuming you have a direct
Internet connection).

I'm getting off the subject here, but suffice it to say that "Yes, you
can install 5.2 and upgrade to 6.0. But you could also stick with 5.2
OR start with 6.0, it's all pretty much the same."
