> I host a site on a NT server with a DSL line, I was told
I could set up the NT box act as a router and run a
Linux box (RH 6.0) through the NT server connection.
Should I list the IP for the card in the NT box as a
host for Linux? And what service should I be
running on NT so Linux can use the connection?
I searched through the Microsoft site and all I
could find was a report the NT was 600% faster
than Linux, was that my clue to give up and
stick with just NT?
If I remember the test correctly, it was done by an outside
company but the company test was sponsored by Microsoft and it
had one or two things where NT does beat Linux at this time. I
think it might have had something to do with 2 or more processors
but I can't remember.
